Before founding XMS Capital Partners, Ted was co-head of Investment Banking in the Midwest at Morgan Stanley. In New York, he worked in the firm’s M&A and Restructuring groups and was a founding member of its Financial Sponsors Group.
Ted has advised on landmark transactions across industries. His experience includes the global IPO of Wellcome plc, the break-up of Sears, Roebuck and Co., the first contested takeover battle in mainland China on behalf of Anheuser-Busch and a U.S. equity deal of the year for General Mills.
At XMS, Ted works across multiple industry verticals and has led award-recognized middle-market healthcare work. He serves on the board of RiverWood Bank and is a former board member of the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
